源自於自小跟隨父親尊敬台灣神明的信仰，

父親自書的毛筆字，

我剛學會電繪時臨摹廟宇內的木雕神像而成的插畫，輸出成紋身貼紙，

與好友Photographer Jeremy與Model Guan的協力，

這是第一個由我自發的作品，

也是讓我申請上UCA Graphic Design碩士學位的主要project，

對我來說充滿了29歲之前的所有意義。

The most beautiful project I've done in 2014: Folk religion/Taiwan Gods. I tried to describe the memory of my childhood and my past. Religion is the most powerful thing, it completes my life, which is either made me a wonderful addition to the world. The figures in drawing are all the mortals who became to the Gods because of their noble spirit and brave behavior, and these are long lasting in people's mind.

禪 (Zen)

A variety of mental disciplines used to induce specific modes or states of consciousness. 濟公, he is a monk who lives a life so free and unfettered and live with normal people, helping them anonymously.

財 (Chai)

Wealth. The figure below is 財神爺. He is a treasure hunter who is believed to enrich everyone. If you have good faith in him, you will surprisingly receive good luck or fortune.

仁 (Ren)

Benevolence: the humanity, goodwill, or disposition to do good. The figure below is 千手千眼觀世音菩薩 also named Bodhisattva. With thousand eyes and hands, he has the greatest and the strongest image of all the gods. The stories and legends of his life depict the various attempts of the Bodhisattva to embrace qualities such as self-sacrifice and morality. Because of this, people have the highest respect and curiosity for him/her.

悲 (Bei)

Mercy. The concept of a "Merciful God" appears in various religions, including Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. The most well known in Taiwan is depicted on 地藏王 also named Ksitigarbha. He performs acts of mercy as a component of his religious belief. Emphasized through giving purpose, caring for the sick, and forgiving the guilty, his compassionate behavior is said to even allow those who've committed even the most heinous acts go to heaven.

忠 (Zhong)

Royalty. The figure on the right is 關公 (Guangong). He was named by the royal minister in the three kingdoms era (220-280 AD). He is viewed as a personal representation of the bravest brotherhood and the loyalist spirit since that time.
